The Commission FIRST PUBLIC HEARING! October 10th, 2007 – The Commission held its first public hearing at Johnson State College. The auditorium was filled with supporters of equality. In total, 26 people testified – 23 in support, 2 against, and 1 was a bit mixed. The testimony was emotional and Commission listened intently to each who testified, taking notes.
