Nokia N9 Display Issues
Note "shadow-like" stripes above and beneath the black letters; very visible around the year "2011" in the headline. Phone is in landscape, the lines are actually horizontal lines when you hold the phone in portrait mode. Don't know if it's the model as such, the display technology used or just a faulty device I got.

Qt application on both Maemo and S60
Running simple homegrown Qt application on N900 (Maemo) and the Nokia 6110 Navigator from 2007 (S60 3rd, FP 1).I think it's incredible what Qt can do.

Hubschraubereinsatz
Das eigentich spannende an diesem Video ist nicht der Hubschrauber, der irgendwo zu erkennen sein sollte, sondern die Tatsache, daß man 2005 mit einer Video-Qualität von 128×96 Pixel (bei 15fps) zufrieden war; ich jedenfalls war es, denn damals war ich ganz begeistert, daß mein brandneues Nokia 6230 auch Videos aufnehmen konnte. :)Heute verwende ich das gerät nur mehr als Uhr am Strand... da ist es egal, wenn Sand dazu kommt oder wenn es von Sonnencreme verschmiert wird.
