English below] "Madres Lesbianas" es un un acercamiento a la homosexualidad femenina a través de la vida cotidiana de diez familias diferentes. Las imágenes de estas nuevas familias se manifiestan como el reflejo de un espejo de la familia tradicional, ayudando a deconstruir la idea patriarcal de la misma y rompiendo con los falsos mitos creados alrededor de la homosexualidad. Enfocado con una visión intimista, respetuosa de las relaciones intrafamiliares, enseña a través de las imágenes ese devenir diario que caracteriza las vidas de todos los hombres y mujeres sea cual sea su condición sexual, su género o estado civil. Pero también refleja la situación en que se encuentran las madres lesbianas y su rol en el marco familiar, teniendo en cuenta la función social que tienen atribuida en las diferentes culturas. El trabajo realizado en tres países diferentes como España, Holanda y Estados Unidos ayuda también a percibir un mejor entendimiento de la posición de la mujer en esas sociedades. La elección de estos tres paises, mas alla de estar basada en criterios geográficos, viene guiada por sus particularidades sociales y culturales. ____________________ "Lesbian Mothers" looks at female homosexuality through the daily lives of ten different families. The photographs of these new families reveal a mirror image of traditional families, contributing to the deconstruction of the patriarchal idea of the traditional family and breaking away from the false myths created around homosexuality. Through an intimate approach that respects intra-family relations, the images reveal the everyday details that define the lives of all men and women, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender or marital status. But at the same time, they reflect the particular situation in which lesbian mothers find themselves and their role within the family framework, taking into account the social function that is attributed to them in different cultures. The project, carried out in three different countries - Spain, Holland and the United States -, also brings a better understanding of the position of women in these societies.
