Schools were closed January 5 in Canby for budget cuts (students will lose a total of 7 days this year, staff 14 days of pay). Chris Gilbert, a local English Language Development teacher, did something about it. 54 fellow Canby EA members, families, students, legislators, and administrators braved cold and drizzle to join him. This is the second informational picket of the school year.
