During the Enterprise 2.0 conference in Boston I sat down with Bob Bickel, founder and CEO of Ringside Networks. Ringside Networks is developing an open source Social Application Server, which will enable the creation of social applications whch operate across networks, and bring social functionality to existing corporate applications. We talked about the relationship between open source and innovation, Ringside's business model, and the evolution of social networking functionality.
