Year: 1958A Day Called X is a civil defense film, showing the possibleevacuation of a large city such as Portland, Oregon due to a warningof approaching enemy aircraft carrying H-bombs, presented by actor Glenn Ford.It begins with a normal day for the residents of portland, going to work,or doing other activities which are typical for their everyday-life.Enemy aircraft intruding US airspace alerts the civil defense ofportland. They swiftly react and make a radio announcement that allpeople in oregon should as fast as possible leave the city or seek shelterin a bomb-proof refuge.
