Bas van Abel is creative director at the Waag Socieity in Amsterdam. He's been instrumental in the development of 'fablabs' all over the Netherlands and strongly believes that open is a MUST. In this interview, Bas states that "if you're not open-sourcing and making stuff radically transparent the way it happened in open source (...) in the physical world then stuff will not change."
