Allan Hartley, editor and founder of New Perspectives: A Journal of Conscious Living, printed and distributed the magazine for 22 years, of which 15 of them were national. New Perspectives was established in 1987 to report on alternative movements, alternative health practices, human potential, Transpersonal Psychology, Eastern philosophy, and more. It has continued to grow and offer important, insightful, and thought-provoking content throughout the years. Recently, New Perspectives has been moved to a web presence instead of print.
