ontheground started out as an experiment at sxsw (south by southwest) 2008 in austin, texas. myself (me.dm) and documentally (ourmanside.com) were sponsored by jeff pulver of pulvermedia to go and cover the event for pulver.tv to be launched (if not already) sometime in 2008.the ontheground project brought together photos, video, audio and twitter updates to one central website (http://live.rezpondr.com) we plan to expand on the service this year and give the community the ability to build their own rezpondr page to aggregate media on the move or while mobile. We plan to produce useful addons that people can add for a small fee to their own page.We hope to give people the ability to also create their own templates. We are currently looking for sponsors to enable our concept.
Christian managed to get the compelling story of jeffrey deskovic when rox from beachwalks.tv introduced us.

so we quickly dropped by to say hello, rude not to if you are in the neighbourhood right?
we walked up the stairs and it nearly did us in, walking down the stairs from blip.tv offices. we found nyc to be really patchy when it comes to finding wifi to broadcast with - next time we will get our cradlepoints sorted out!
i really do not remember this video. :)
walking around nyc we found some nice streets leading up to the blogtv offices. a great day to be in nyc.
we managed to drop by to a screening thing in newyork which was based around connecting the bigscreen peeps with the little screen peeps. a good event and great people.
i would love to be a beta tester for the cradlepoint personal hotspot in the uk to see if it works with mobile broadband over here as well.
sometimes having the idea to do a seesmic is just reactionary, sometimes it takes a bit of planning to get the stuff just right.
