NTPRO is an abbreviation of New Technology Professional. I am active as an ICT specialist for more than 15 years. Since 2006 the accent of my services has changed from consulting to delivering VMware courses. During the past weeks I’m trying to build a Visual Basic application that communicates with the VMware SDK. As a VMware certified instructor I can help organisations who want to maximise the benefits of the VMware virtualisation products. Their IT professionals will benefit from attending in-depth, hands-on courses. These courses include the highly popular 'VI3 Install & Configure' that also prepares IT professionals for VMware VCP certification, along with the deploy secure and analyze course for deployment experts and systems integrators.

Undeleeb Din over at VMware presented the VMware Update Manager training module at the VDM TTT this week in Frimley. I captured some video footage which can be viewed here. The VMware Update Manager keeps systems up-to-date and reduces the number of vulnerabilities. VUM is all about Automated Patch Management and Patches ESX hosts and the VMs and templates hosted on them.

Andy Cary delivering the VDM2 TTT
Today I attended the Virtual Desktop Manager Train The Trainer course at VMware in Frimley (UK) delivered by Andy Cary, Undeleeb Din and Richard Garsthagen. It was a great day with lots of discussions about Group Policy’s and mandatory profile’s. As always I brought my camera with me and made some pictures during the course. I even managed to collect some video footage.

Many bloggers already discovered the video on YouTube showing that Hyper-V Quick Migration breaks network connections.
