Those who attended the 27th annual Holiday Saxophones Dec. 20 at the Guadalupe Theater were treated to the musical genius of George Prado and fellow musicians whom he's collected over the years.The group doesn't meet for formal practices, nor did they get together prior to Sunday's concert. However, the camaraderie and talent was more then evident thoughout their play list.The night was opened by Central Catholic High School Mighty Buttons Band, under the direction of Arnold Garza. Mayor Castro also made a surprise appearance, ushered in by a procession of saxophonists.
