On Friday Sept. 9, 2011 the students at Sarah King Elementary School on San Antonio's westside honored 9/11 with a ceremony. The students sang, had a moment of silence and gave local firefighters cards and letters.
About 70 people listened as residents of District 8 and beyond addressed their thoughts about the city of San Antonio's proposed budget for FY2012. District 8 Councilman Reed Williams was on hand and addressed many of the speakers' specific questions.
