Solar Pie is a nonprofit organization that promotes solar energy awareness and solar power through environmental education, advocacy and the creation of high-profile demonstration solar roofs. Their goal is to grow the Solar Pie by developing an online community of like-minded members who would like to see a world powered by safe, clean renewable solar energy. Their vision is to leverage this membership with corporate sponsorship and foundation grants, using these funds to facilitate and promote a nationwide solar demonstration project.
