March 2, 2010: NYS Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins comments on the creation of the bi-partisan Government Efficiency Task Force. Chaired by Deputy Senate Majority Leader Jeff Klein, the twelve member task force – of which Sen. Stewart-Cousins is a member – will conduct a statewide investigation into the spending practices of state agencies and operations to uncover areas of administrative inefficiencies and government waste.
