New Lens worked with a total of 39 youth educators to help them implement change they wanted to see in their schools. Students chose a wide variety of initiatives. One chose to do an exchange program between a private and public school, another chose to teach media literacy while another created a college information session for juniors who typically don't get college information until their senior year. Our peer educators came from various schools throughout Baltimore and reached a total of 849 peers through their projects and workshops.
