Quesada Gardens Initiative
Neighbors unite to change the face of their street, one plant at a time. Quesada Avenue was once riddled with trash and drug parapheneila and was plagued with drive-bys and crime. Neighbors rebeled by deciding to beautify the street, planting flowers and food crops. It's now the district's oasis and serves as an example to various streets citywide.
