This is the site of John Rhodes and Clara Hsu, and this is the new San Francisco Open Mic Poetry, Mystic Babylon Site. At the moment I am planning to put all the old Mystic Babylon audio on this site and am going to add video slideshows to them. I am transferring all the audio poetry podcasts from http://mysticbabylon.podomatic.com. The recession has hit us all.

Walker Brents on the New Mystic Babylon Poetry P...
This is John Rhodes and this re-mastering of an old poetry podcast improved the sound and resolution. This was done with a Canon GL2 with just the on-board mic at the old Bird & Beckett Bookstore. It was one of my first video projects. Walker Brents, the poet in the segment, often has philosophy/myth lectures at Bird and Beckett Bookstore in San Francisco.
