“My Mother/Agent” is a new series that is described as a mix between ‘Pushing Daisies,’ ‘The Office’ and ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It’s based around a pair of shoes that have magical powers!” The plot centers around a young starlet, Chloe, who inherits a talent agency (though “talent” might be a misnomer) in Sweetgum, Georgia. Chloe flies to Georgia with one goal in mind--to inspect the talent agency so that she can put a price tag on it and get back to her own career. She finds the agency being run by Ruby June, a former beauty queen with a taste for “sweet tea” and a sassy assistant named Saffire. All goes according to plan until the spirit of Chloe’s dead mother makes her appearance as the heart and “sole” of the agency via a pair of high heel shoes.
