Segment Three: One of the longest running open mics in the city happens at the Anodyne Coffee House in South Minneapolis on the first Friday night of each month. Started almost thirteen years ago by our own multi-talented host Tom Cassidy, the Anodyne open mic continues under the guidance of current host Troy Russel who has been creating a warm and accepting atmosphere for performing artists for the last two years. Access to Art Correspondent Beth Peloff attended a recent open mic night and spoke with Troy and some of the performers.
