www.movingstories.tv - for the very good reason that Canadian folks ought to frequently remember that ours is a liberated country, free from oppression, and free to express most any opinion, this episode is presented in honour of PEN Canada's ongoing initiative. The event in this segement, this year called "WRITERS UNDER SEIGE" also celebrates the launch of an anthology of the same title, which includes works by Anna Politkovskaya, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Ma Thida and many others. Readers in the event event included Jill, who delivered a masterly performance that made you feel you were deep in coversation with the now-deceased, murdered actually, Russian journalist Politkovskaya, and Attom Egoyan, who related his personal story of having met Hrant Dink at the Cannes premiere of his own work, the film Ararat. The anthology is available through PEN Canada online at www.pencanada.ca.
