Moving Pixel Films is a small film co. located in southern California. It is owned and operated by Jacob Morales, a multimedia producer. While we specialize in wedding film production, we can also film just about any type of project. We have done music videos, documentaries, & films shorts, in addition to weddings. We use only the best equipment but never let that get in the way of good film production. When you meet with us, we’ll go over your project needs and explore the best way to approach your vision.
This is “Chattanooga Choo Choo.” According to Wikipedia, “”Chattanooga Choo Choo” is a big-band/swing song which was featured in the 1941 movie Sun Valley Serenade, which starred Sonja Henie, John Payne, Glenn Miller and his orchestra, The Modernaires, Milton Berle and Joan Davis. It was performed in the film as an extended production number, featuring vocals by Tex Beneke, Paula Kelly, and the Modernaires.” I recorded this film of a 1960’s-1970’s “Alpha Beta” market record that contains a com...
This is Chattanooga Choo Choo. I found this recording off of an old "Alpha Beta" market record that contains a compilation of Big Band hits. This features Tex Beneke & The Modernaires. The recording quality is excellent and the performance is amazing. It was also done in true stereo so I'm suspicious of it being an early recording as the record sleeve suggests. I don't know what album this came off of originally so let me know if you have any info on this particular track.
Tracy & Teresa {The Wedding Morning}
Welcome to Moving Pixel Films! We filmed this in lovely Pasadena, Ca. Our congratulations go out to Tracy &Teresa who made this day very special even for us!
This was the 1st meeting I've filmed for OC Podcasters. It was a long night of very informative content for the group. The best thing is that you can ask just about any podcast related question and there's ususally an expert in the room to help. Sorry for the shaky vid quality, my tripod walked out of the car before I left for the meeting. It will look much better next time.
Josh & Lisa were so much fun to film for this Bridal Film Short. From the moment the camera was rolling, they had so much fun with it. In fact, I could've made a whole separate film short with just the outtakes! When we do a Bridal Film Short, I do as little directing at first and as time goes by, we hold out the stops and see where it takes us. I find that this makes for a more interesting film. The beauty about these film shorts is that we film them in locations that are meaningful to you. I...
Filming Donald & Cindy was a long fun day. The wedding & reception took place at The Mission Inn in Riverside, Ca. As you can tell from the video, this is a prime location when it comes to photos & video. Everywhere you turn, you find gorgeous architecture of renaissance & spanish styled facades. One great thing about this day is that everything took place here from the morning on. This is not only good for me but everyone is a lot less stressed. The wedding day can have people on edge but thi...
This is a piece I worked on for a Los Angeles church television show. It was the intro to their pilot episode that was set to air on TV last year. With little time and small amounts of footage or photots, I pieced together this intro using motion. They were a vibrant people so I wanted to convey movement or motion in the clip.
