This video extends the metaphor of “learning on the rails” and “taking sidetrips for learning” shared by David Warlick in his preconference keynote address (in video form) for the 2006 K-12 Online conference. I use the metaphor of the railroad to talk about schools and learning in the 21st century, including the issue of school reform.
