On 02-16-09, approximately 8:30 pm, Conroe Police officers responded to the Chuckee Cheese Pizza Restaurant located at 16000 block of I-45 South in Conroe. The original call was regarding a possible custody issue between parents and involving a 5 year old child. Arriving officers learned from complainants Joyce Nielsen and Kurk Nielsen that custody of the 5 year old child was recently awarded to them. The Nielsens are the aunt and uncle to the child. The child’s biological parents, Angela Faith Williams, 01-28-63, and Carl Forlano, 02-09-52, apparently requested a supervised visitation with the Nielsens and the child. Upon arrival at the Chuckee Cheese Restaurant, the Nielsens, the child, and Angela Williams entered the restaurant. Moments later, Williams ran out of the restaurant with the child and left in a white color pickup truck. Forlano was reported to be the driver of the vehicle. The initial investigation also revealed Williams was apparently driven to the restaurant by a third individual and Forlano drove the pickup to the restaurant. Investigators are following leads on the identity and location of the third individual as well. As a result of this child abduction, the Conroe Police Department initiated an Amber Alert Warning at approximately 11:00 pm. The child is Annabelle Nichole Williams Forlano Female, 5 years of age Date of birth 12-10-03 3’-4” tall Approximately 35 lbs, light brown hair, and brown eyes The child was last seen wearing a white Hanna Montana shirt, pink jacket, blue jeans, and pink boots with fringe.Additional information: * Investigator Greg Hall said he received information overnight that the hat Annabelle wore in the photographs was the same one she was wearing when abducted. * Police believe the trio may be en route to New York, where Forlano has family. * TxDOT said the abduction did not meet the criteria to post on freeway signs, despite being an Amber Alert. Berry said it was possible that was due to no description of the truck. * Public Data shows Forlano has a history of felony drug convictions and Williams has drug convictions and other charges including forgery of a financial instrument and failure to stop and give informationPersons who may have seen these individuals or have information on the whereabouts of the child, are encouraged to contact the Conroe Police Department Communications Division at 936-522-3205 at any time.
