http://momentofyouth.org Moment of Youth is a web site that brings young Canadians together to learn about our political process and experience the discussion, debate and discord that constitute *involvement* in the democratic process. Here they learn that the issues that face us as a nation, and those that are unique to them as young people are not simple, and are not simply addressed. By providing our visitors with videos that neutrally illustrate the opposing viewpoints of hot button topics, we get young people listening, understanding, caring and participating. There is no greater aim for us than to instil in the politically ambivalent a sense of passion about opinions they’ve formed after actually understanding the sound bites they half hear in the news. I believe you and I share this goal. We need you to let young Canadians know that you are listening, and that you can provide feedback and guidance as they negotiate their way toward their own political identities. We’re asking you to use our site to speak to young Canadians and to listen to young Canadians. Let them know that their voices are being heard and give them a reason to vote. Please come to momentofyouth.org, represent your party, and tell young Canadians your vision for their future.
