AND SO THE FUN BEGAN! On a dull, dismal, dark Saturday night, Lovechild returned with yet another fantastic monthly treat, Lovechild ʻSnow Ballʼ. Playing that all-important opening set, Phil Hewson had us all rushing with his fast-paced progressive sounds, followed by Tony English, guest DJ Troy Cox with a closing set from both Troy Cox and DJ/ Promoter Johan Khoury back-to-back. Limelight stealing hot muscular gogos (some being the DreamBoys) battled it out in tight white shorts throughout the night, as well as solo erotic full-blown stripping as we were covered in fake snow. In the Fire Lounge, Terry Vietheer and Brent Nicholls had us all bouncing and at the same time, Johan Khoury - fresh from Sydney, responsible for big club brands such as Live, Rising, Lovechild Sydney and Day Wash - absolutely smashed it in the Mirror Arch with the best uplifting vocal tunes, with even a dash of RʼnʼB; shortly followed by Alessandro Londra closing the show in style. Contemporaneous to all, fire breathers entertained the folks outside, whilst inside we were accompanied by ice queens. With events like that, Lovechild is definitely going to be around for a long, long time. Sylvia Rebel
