Minnie Indie is a weekly comedy video show that sometimes highlights indie rock concerts in Minneapolis and St. Paul and sometimes does whatever. The videos can also be found online at www.minnieindie.com--The online events calender created by Aaron Zee and Brian Patrick that inspired this video show. From a double secret location, Steve Barone and Sarah Tukua (along with a gaggle of other so-called actors) try to bring the events calender and music news to you in the form of supersweet sketches and mash-ups. Episodes come out every Thursday to cover weekend shows. Production: The Minnie Indie videos were first launched on June 21, 2007. All episodes are produced by Steve Barone using a camera, a tripod, lame lights, no greenscreen and a computer.
I know I had specific plans for Minnie Indie #51 and 52 but now things have changed. Whatever. I recently shot video down in Chicago to try out a stitching technique with video. Many people are familiar with panoramas using still photos pieced together. I'm essentially doing the same thing with video. I pick a scene and shoot part of it for 6-10 seconds. Then, I move the camera to the edge of where I believe the first frame ended and repeat a few times. The result is something to the effect of...
I talk about how slow production has been going from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. There have been a plethora of reasons why episodes 51 and 52 could not be completed by June 21, 2008. I set out to do 52 videos in 52 weeks on June 21, 2007 and well, I'm still on track 'cause I'm using the Mayan calender which has 9 days per week. Exclusive Incredible Hatred of Phil Collins is seen in this video.
I found a box of crayons and made stuff with them. It's super stupid.I wanted to fool around with manual focus.
Minnie Indie #49 The Effed Up Zone “The Little People”This story is adapted from the Twilight Zone Season 3 Episode 93 titled “the Little People” I completely re-did it to meet a 5 minute format.Synopsis: An astronaut on a Christian mission tries power on for size and it doesn’t fit in the Effed Up Zone. Constantine Romanowski pilots his ship, Night Ranger, down to a desolate planet in the Evangelical outskirts to let his engine cool down. When he finds a civilization of tiny people, he suffer...
A worker in the aeronautical building of a huge company strikes it rich. He unknowingly comes up with a design for a new aircraft. People have sex on the paper plane and it crash lands. dis.For the record: This Minnie Indie is super late because I had to deal with a terra byte drive crapping the bed. I lost about 600 gigs of stuff.

Hey,I'm John K. and I'm a cameraman for Digital DAZAM! Video Productions headed by Steve B. and Michael A.. (It's like Shazam! but with a "D") Steve asked me to upload something while he's on vacation for this week's Minnie Indie, so I thought I'd post some footage of an upcoming show Steve and Michael are producing that will help people make better Youtube videos. I hope they don't mind-JK
After a weekend of partying, I slapped this together at the last minute. It's a promo video for a Hawaii Show performance taking place at the Uptown Bar May 15th 2008 in Minneapolis. For those who don't know, The Hawaii Show is a lip synced act that lip syncs to their own voices. It's like a high school play. www.thehawaiishow.com for more info
