I got the opportunity to visit Portland, Oregon this past week (August 2010) and during my visit, Jarret Hamstreet's grandfather flew me in the 1944 Staggerwing Model G that he had restored. The plane is one of only 5 in existance and getting to fly in it was simply amazing.
