About this original series

Memphis producer Tom Wayne has collaborated in a range of roles, which include conceptualizing, writing, producing, camerawork, photography, editing, and effects. Currently working on projects with various cable television networks, a feature film, and a documentary, his work can be seen on Discovery, National Geographic, IFC, ESPN, VERSUS, CW, Fine Living, and Outdoor Channel. While illustrating various examples of this work, the primary emphasis of Memphis 360 is to feature projects created with the artistic community of Memphis.

    • Olga - "Now Is The Time"

      This music video was shot in historical Clarksdale, Mississippi. It was directed by Mike McCarthy, and Tom Wayne served as DP/Cameraman. Locations included Hopson Plantation and a dilapidated, old cinema. While in Mississippi, southern hospitality stepped to surreal status when a train stopped to collaborate.

    • The Hives - "A Little More For Little You"

      This music video was co-directed by Mike McCarthy and H.G. Ray. Shot all over Memphis, locations included Goner Records and The New Daisy. Green screen was shot at Steve Jones' photography studio. The primary DP/Cameraman was Tom Wayne. Tom and H.G. went on to shoot them live that night in concert at The New Daisy, along with The Reigning Sound, The Tearjerkers, and Death Ray.

      When The Hives came to Memphis, Mike McCarthy directed this video with them entirely on green screen at Steve Jones' photography studio. Tom Wayne was DP/Cameraman, and H.G. Ray handled all post-production, including effects and edit.

      The trailer for "Rosa Remembered", a film about Rosa Parks' recollections of history and the civil rights movement. Rare footage captures Rosa Parks as she is escorted by the Honorable D'Army Bailey through the National Civil Rights Museum. Tom Wayne is a producer, cameraman, and editor with the project.
