Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation Increases Awareness For EMTs and Paramedics

Carissa Caramanis O'Brien chats with Dr Ben Bobrow about the importance of keeping our eyes firmly focused on improving survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest victims. This can best be accomplished when all emergency medical technicians and paramedics work to improve their own skills, continue to educate themselves about the science of cardiac arrest and collaborate with other parts of their EMS system and communities to bring other resources into the response. A special thank you to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation for sponsoring the ProMed Network Podcast Studio at EMS World Expo 2011 in Las Vegas. Please visit their site and Facebook page to find survivor stories and more about how you can change survival rates where you live and work.
