Since 2003, MotorCityRocks.com has provided an online home for Detroit music by featuring daily editorial content, MP3 downloads, show listings, as well as venue, band, and Detroit neighborhood profiles. This summer, MotorCityRocks is branching out with an Internet TV show all about Detroit music. Beginning in June, MCRtv will film weekly at the North End Studios in Detroit. Each of the 30 episodes in MCRtv’s first season will feature a rotating group of hosts interviewing Detroit musicians. In addition to the interviews, each 30 minute episode will also feature comedy sketches, band performances and a local event calendar.
