About this original series

I am Matthew J Gravelyn. I currently live, work, and love in Seattle. I moved up here with my girlfriend, Che`, about six months ago. She's an aspiring esthetician and I work in retail. We like watching TV, playing with the internet, open-air markets, seashell hunting, garage sales, cute animals, and cooking nice dinners.   There is a McDonald's near my mall, and in that McDonald's is a quaint little fish tank. One of the more friendly residents of this tank is a little blow fish, who loved attention. Present were Ryan and Jeremy.

  There is always something cool to see at Pike's Market, but it might not always be something for sale. This guy, who had a nice array of wood and steel guitars, also had himself a well-tuned saw. He also turns out to be a patriot.

  In the backyard at my uncle's house, there used to be a majestic swimming pool. Now, many years after its construction, it has cracked beyond repair, and is currently playing home to a host of indigenous species of plants, birds, and even a few frogs. My dad is planning to finish cracking out the bottom of the pool, remove the electronic components, and let nature take it back.

  Fun at Sushiland
  
  With a party of eight bellied up to the bar at Sushiland, it was quite an event for my first (real) sushi experience. Sure, I've tried the stuff in Michigan, but that is no comparison to the fresh sushi made by experience hands and knives in Seattle. Here's a short movlog from the bar. That's Arabella first, then Tyson and Ryan in the back. Also there, but not pictured, was Che`, Nick, Joe, and Jeremy.
