Spring 2008. Final Senior Project for New York University's Department of Journalism, "Slowly Growing Greener" investigates the new green movement as it takes place in Manhattan. Through its investigation, this magazine piece introduces us to a few of New York's characters who reflect this movement, from a retail shop in Park Slope to a biking organization in the west village. Although their efforts may seem slim, the common goal is inspirational. Marshall Bell is a Senior in New York University's College of Arts and Science, majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Urban Studies.
