http://corfu-archives.blogspot.com/ ΜΙΑ ΒΟΛΤΑ ΜΕ ΤΟ ΓΑΪΔΟΥΡΑΚΙ ΣΤΟ ΛΙΒΑΔΙ !! Ήταν τότε, στις μέρες του ྕ (1989), που ο πατέρας μου χτυπημένος από την πάρκινσον, ήταν στα τελευταία του. Παραζαλισμένος από τα χάπια, ένα απόγευμα, με την ήρεμη και μαλακή φωνή του, άρχισε να θυμάται μια σκηνή της παιδικής του ηλικίας που μου την έλεγε συχνά, όχι όμως έτσι «.. τότε που η μάνα μου με έβαζε στο γαϊδουράκι μας καβάλα και με έπαιρνε μαζί της στο λιβάδι, στα χωράφια ..» Εκεί η φωνή του έσπασε και ένας λυγμός ξεχείλισε από την καρδιά του, ενώ ένα δάκρυ κύλησε από τα μάτια του. Πρώτη φορά είδα τον πατέρα μου σ'αυτή τη κατάσταση και συγκλονίστηκα. Σκληροτράχηλος αστυνόμος στα βουνά της Ηπείρου, 20 χρόνια κυνηγούσε τους ζωοκλέφτες και τους ληστές και μετά ο πόλεμος, η κατοχή, η Αντίσταση και το 50, πολίτης πια, στο σκληρό αγώνα της καθημερινής επιβίωσης. Και όμως απ'όλα αυτά του είχε μείνει στη καρδιά ΜΙΑ ΒΟΛΤΑ ΜΕ ΤΟ ΓΑΪΔΟΥΡΑΚΙ ΣΤΟ ΛΙΒΑΔΙ Έντεκα γενιές ανθρώπων, ένα σπίτι το λιμάνι τους, μια απλή ζωή, σίγουροι όμως ότι το ΑΥΡΙΟ ΘΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΣΑΝ ΤΟ ΣΗΜΕΡΑ Κανένα άγχος, καμιά ανησυχία, με μόνη χαρά και επιθυμία « .. μια βόλτα με το γαϊδουράκι στο λιβάδι, με τη μάνα μας ..» Σήμερα από το γαϊδουράκι φθάσαμε στα δύο αυτοκίνητα ο καθ' ένας μας. Γίναμε τα αδηφάγα πλάσματα της πρώτης ευκαιρίας . . Γίναμε ΚΑΤΑΝΑΛΩΤΕΣ. Και το αύριο το νομίζαμε πάντα καλύτερο γιατί έχουμε την τεχνολογία ! Το αύριο όμως έγινε ένας ΕΦΙΑΛΤΗΣ, όχι μόνο για την Ελλάδα που καταρρέει, αλλά για την Ευρώπη, για όλο τον κόσμο. Καταλάβαμε λάθος τη λέξη ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ και πέσαμε στη φάκα της πλεονεξίας, της αρπαγής, του άκρατου εγωισμού Και για όλα φταίνε οι άλλοι, αλλά οι άλλοι είμαστε εμείς !!! Εμπρός λοιπόν, ολοταχώς προς τα πίσω ? Ποιό πίσω όμως, τότε που δεν είχαμε ηλεκτρισμό και τηλεόραση ? Όχι βέβαια, αυτά δεν φταίνε σε τίποτα. Προς τα πίσω μέσα μας Προς την απλότητα, προς την ανθρωπιά, προς την ΑΓΑΠΗ ! Ποιός τα ακούει όμως αυτά σήμερα, μόνο το χρηματιστήριο μας ενδιαφέρει .. « Άφησέ τον αυτόν, είναι γραφικός ..» Ναι, γραφικός μεν, αλλά απίστευτα ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΙΚΟΣ !! Η δυνατότητα να μπορώ να εκτιμώ τις αποστάσεις των αντικειμένων, χρησιμοποιώντας και τα δύο μάτια, όπως στη πραγματικότητα, μου προσέφερε την ολοκλήρωση στην εικόνα, και τη βαθιά ικανοποίηση της ρεαλιστικής εμπειρίας.Πάντοτε πίστευα ότι η απεικόνιση σε δύο διαστάσεις, όπως συνήθως γίνεται, και η προσπάθεια να εκτιμηθεί το βάθος της εικόνας με τη βοήθεια μόνο της προοπτικής, ήταν ελλιπής και πάντοτε είχα την εντύπωση ότι κάτι χάνω, πολύ ουσιώδες, από την πραγματικότητα. Γι' αυτό και έχω απασχοληθεί και πειραματισθεί για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα με τη τρισδιάστατη φωτογραφία, και έχω κατασκευάσει ένα σύστημα δύο μηχανών λήψεως σε ενιαία βάση, που λειτουργούν ταυτόχρονα και δίνουν την εικόνα που λαμβάνει το αριστερό και το δεξί μάτι του παρατηρητή αντίστοιχα. Τότε που χιλιάδες νέοι επίδοξοι ερασιτέχνες κινηματογραφιστές, σ'όλο τον κόσμο, με μιά μικρή κάμερα 8 χιλ. στο χέρι, γύριζαν τα "αριστουργήματά τους" σ'ένα φιλμ διάρκειας 3 λεπτών, που έπρεπε να περιμένουν δυό βδομάδες για να το δούν εμφανισμένο και έτοιμο για προβολή. Elegeion i rekviem (initial title)REQUIEM for humanityThe human history of violence and wars.The innocent children, everyday victims of this terrible heritage...This film was made in 1970 (Vietnam war, Kennedy's assassination, first man on the moon etc) and it was a 3 Stars winner at the London Ten Best Festival (1971), while in 1972 its participation at the Salonika (Greece) professional cine festival was censored by the dictatorship. This film of the beautiful island of Corfu, was made 35 years ago and was the winner of many prizes and medals, at Cine Festivals. It has participated at the 1973 Salonika (Greece) professional Cine Festival. It was the Gold Star winner at the London Ten Best Festival (1974) and medal winner at the Cannes International Cine Festival for short films (1976).The same year (1976), it represented Greece at the Malta Cine Festival.If you had visited Corfu in the old times, you will find out that after so many years, only a few things have been changed in this island. Man's cruelty against animalsWhen, in 1986, I watched, with my camera, my cat's delivery, I did not expect to live through, some of the exceptional moments of life !This happened a few hours after she had born her 4 kittens. Looking at her face, through my camera, I was stunned by the tender expression of tranquility and fullness it had. These special moments have been recorded and you can watch them now, in this video, and perhaps share with me this unforgettable experience ..And yet we, humans, torture animals, destroy nature, harm our neighbors and damage our selves..I kept this video, for almost 20 years, as something very valuable to me, sharing it only with my friends and my neighbors. Κοιτάζοντας το πρόσωπό της, μέσα από την κάμερά μου, έμεινα έκπληκτος από την τρυφερή έκφραση ηρεμίας και πληρότητας που είχε. Αυτές τις αξέχαστες στιγμές τις κατέγραψα με την μηχανή μου και μπορείτε τώρα να τις παρακολουθήσετε και εσείς σ'αυτό το βίντεο και ίσως μοιρασθείτε μαζύ μου εκείνη την καταπληκτική εμπειρία μου..Και όμως, εμείς οι άνθρωποι, βασανίζουμε τα ζώα, καταστρέφουμε τη φύση, κάνουμε κακό στους γείτονές μας και βλάπτουμε τους εαυτούς μας..Φύλαξα αυτό το βίντεο, για 20 περίπου χρόνια, σαν κάτι το πολύ ξεχωριστό για μένα, δείχνοντάς το μόνο στους φίλους μου και τους γείτονες. This is a digital art show made in 2002, some months after the terrible events of 11/11. It started as a family show, but 11/11 gave me the idea to express, through it, the need for more love and compassion in our life, in order to change a little to the better, this world ...No cameras were used, but only my PC and 30 old family photos. This Super 8, 18 fps film, was made in 1969 and it was the 1st award winner at the 1970 Greek Amateur Cine Club Festival. It was shot during our vacations in Corfu with a small S8 hand held camera and actually was the basis for the creation of the 16mm movie of CORFU, 3 years later, in 1972. The interesting point of this movie is the sequence of the rally at the old town of Corfu, which does not take place any more for many years now. The film's text and narration, in a slightly poetic style, is in Greek by M.L.Αυτή η ταινία έγινε το 1969, σε φιλμ Super 8 και 18 καρρέ ανά δτλ. , κατά τη διάρκεια των θερινών διακοπών μας στην Κέρκυρα.Πήρε το πρώτο βραβείο στο φεστιβάλ ερασιτεχνικού κινηματογράφου που έγινε από την Ε.Λ.Ε.Κ. (Ελληνική Λέσχη Ερασιτεχνικού Κινηματογράφου) στην αίθουσα του φιλολογικού συλλόγου "ΠΑΡΝΑΣΣΟΣ" το βράδυ της 16 Μαίου 1970 (πρόεδρος κριτικής επιτροπής Γ. ΚΑΡΤΕΡ). Αποτέλεσε τη βάση για τη μετ'έπειτα δημιουργία της ταινίας "ΚΕΡΚΥΡΑ" σε 16 χιλ. το 1972,που πήγε στο φεστιβάλ Θεσσαλονίκης και πολλά άλλα φεστιβάλ του εξωτερικού. This 15 minutes, Super 8, 18 fps film, was made in 1967 and it was it's creator's first movie. The main characters are played by Marios and Paul Lefteriotis and it was the 4th award winner at the 1969 Greek Amateur Cine Club Festival.
