The County has taken a position that the landfill has already recieved expansion approval. They are permitted for only 19.1 M Cubic Yards capacity. The JPA for waste is ignoring this fact and assuming it now has the capacity to stay open, at this rate until 2024. Yet all documents state 2016. This is significant because it triggers a rewrite of Marin's waste plans.
