Mrs. Leiber established the Judith Leiber Company in 1963 in New York. Since then, the corporation has produced world-renowned purses, handbags, evening bags and accessories. The handbags are included in the permanent collections of museums world wide. Ms Leibers purses are carried by famous celebrities, including Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Swank, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Ritchie, Natalie Portman, Debra Messing, Oprah Winfrey, Teri Hatcher, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cate Blanchett just to name a few. Judith Leiber has also been carried by various first ladies to their husband's presidential inaugerations, including Laura Bush, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan, and Betty Ford.
