The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP), a school of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is committed to preparing ordained and lay ministers of the Word as leaders for the mission of the Church in the world. While a Lutheran seminary, LTSP is very much an ecumenical school, with students and faculty from a number of traditions including Episcopal, Presbyterian, Methodist, AME, Church of God in Christ and Baptist. Located in the Mt. Ariy section of Philadelphia, the seminary is in the heart of a vibrant, diverse urban community, yet close to suburban and rural settings that set the context for ministry in the church in the world today.
