In February, 2009, the Lower Eastdise Girls Club led an adventure tour of the Highlands and Lowlands of Chiapas, Mexico. In this video, our entire group is enjoying dinner at Na Bolom, the hotel and museum we stayed in San Cristobal.

The African Spurred Tortoise is a species of tortoises, which inhabits the southern edge of the Sahara desert in northern Africa. It is the third largest species of tortoise in the world and the largest species of mainland tortoise, not found on an island. Well, not normally found on an island however, this particular one was.Ciyalana lives at the Lower East Side Ecology Center. She was found roaming around in the East River Park.
