About this episode

This was Joelle’s parting visit to the Farallons as Refuge Manager as she is moving to a new position back east. She enjoyed beautiful weather and a perfect sunset marked the end of an era during which she took the limping, ragtag refuge facilities and improved every aspect of island life and operations.
