Typically hell is viewed as a lake of fire which is true but I think the most important aspect we need to keep in view regarding hell is that it represents an eternal estranged relationship and loss of friendship with our Creator. The make belief literal 'fairy tale' movie "Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure" has some spiritual parallels and metaphors to the real life thing of being separated from from a perfect friendship with God and how we need to recognize that it's all our fault and repent.
