The Cadillac Post Office will have to wait a little longer before they can expand their facility. On August 18, construction equipment was fired up, ready to begin renovations to the postal service's Cadillac facility. Demolition of a parking lot behind the post office began, but the project was abruptly stopped. According to Cadillac Assistant City Manager Precia Garland, a construction schedule was supposed to be shared before any renovations began. That schedule hadn't been shared when the renovations began on the 18th, causing a delay for the project. Those at the local post office said that they were unsure exactly when construction would resume, but they're looking forward to continuing the project.
