Cutting Grass -- and staying green. That's the goal of a new lawn care business in Traverse City. "Clean Cuts" was founded by Bill Schramm, who wants to help the Traverse City area reduce its pollution. The business uses only hand-powered reel lawnmowers, which produce no emissions. "Clean Cuts" also composts their grass clippings to reduce waste. For more information on the new lawn care business, you can call the organization at 645-0322. In other news, an International Affairs Forum at Northwestern Michigan College is wrapping up for the year, but there's still time to catch one last speaker in the series. John Price of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburg will speak about the "World Turned Upside Down" at the Milliken Auditorium on June 18. Tickets cost $10, for details you can call 995-1700.
