West Shore Community College, located just north of Ludington, is bringing kids to college. The school's "College for Kids" program offers five days of arts, sciences and recreation programs on the college campus. Courses and activities available include poetry, environmental science, photography, languages and much more. The school says the program offers a "day camp" atmosphere and is open to children between the ages of 9 and 13; registration for the program is open until July 10. The organization will hold a ceremony at noon on July 6 at the site of the new Dillon Community Center to recognize the Members. Charter Members of the YMCA will get special benefits from the organziation, and will be some of the first to use the new community center once it's completed.
