The City of Cadillac was recently awarded for its exceptional planning... for the 24th consecutive year. Last month, the Government Finance Officers Association once again awarded the City of Cadillac with its Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. The award reflects the commitment that Cadillac's local government has made to maintaining a well organized budget. According to the Finance Officers Association, a well-organized budget must serve as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device; Cadillac's budget meets these requirements. In addition to the award received by the City of Cadillac, a Certificate of Recognition was presented to Owen Roberts, Cadillac's Director of FInance.
