BISHOPS MANDATE Catholic schools are an important means through which the Church proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the world today. Students need to understand the Christian call to foster everything good and everything unifying in society from a Gospel perspective. All members of a Catholic school community have responsibilities relating to fostering this perspective. In particular, leaders within Catholic schools are called to promote its evangelisation purposes, aims and ethos, its development as a faith community , its religious dimensions and educational outcomes. Less
