Findhorn is an eco-community in Scotland based upon spiritual principles, this is because it sits within the largest intentional community in the UK. It was started by Eileen and Peter Caddy in 1963, Findhorn became famous for its giant cabbages as they attuned to the spirit of the plants they grew. The Findhorn Ecovillage is a founder member of the Global Ecovillage Network : http://gen.ecovillage.org and educates in ecovillage design, community and spiritual practice.
