Grandmaster Parimarjan Negi continues to remain in Joint lead at World Open Chess Championship being played in Philadelphia.On the penultimate day of the world open two rounds were played and Indians had mixed results. While Grandmaster Abhijit Kunte and IM Arun Prasad lost their 6th round games, Pari,arjan Negi,,having black pieces, played a brilliant game against Victor Mikhalevsky and came out victorious to take his score to 5 points to join three other players in the race for the championship.Parimarjan Negi Spoke to Europe-Echecs after his win:Grandmaster Surya Sekhar Ganguly,who drew his 6th Round game , tried his best to Salvage his deteroiating position in the 7th round but in the endgame with no chance for draw surrendered to Grandmaster Alexander Shabalov and has very little chance to make up the gap.
