The film LAST OF EAST is on the Tiger reserve in the eastern most tip of India in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The sparsely populated villages around the Namdapha National Park has evolved a lifestyle, beliefs and customs that is well linked with the nature. The film gives a glimpse of the life around the National park and then into the brief historical aspects associated with the place. This documentary, directed by VIJAY KUMAR for PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING SERVICE, will be telecast on India's largest Televison News Channel DD NEWS on 19th April 2008 from 10.30 p.m.
