Live Girl Review offers up reviews of sexual culture and media: books, art, and yes - porno and sex toys. Not always well-behaved and tasteful, but always smart and critical, while never losing sight of that whole “fun” thing.The show is hosted by Audacia Ray and features special guests like sex educator Jamye Waxman. In addition to being available on LiveGirlReview.com and via RSS, the video show is also available on iTunes. Live Girl Review was launched in November 2007 as a short format show; one product was featured in each two to three minute episode. After seventy episodes, the show transitioned into a longer format in August 2008. Each Marathon Episode features a book, movie, and sex toy review, as well as features like sex tips, products to avoid, and a fan girl moment, as well as giveaways for commenters.Marathon Episodes are posted on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, with the occasional Quickie in between.ABOUT THE HOSTAudacia Ray edits the Village Voice sexuality blog Naked City and produces the video show Naked City TV. She is the author of Naked on the Internet: Hookups, Downloads, and Cashing In on Internet Sexploration and is the award-winning director and producer of the porn feature The Bi Apple. Audacia is a former sex worker who was an executive editor at $pread magazine for three years and is now on the board of advocacy organization Sex Work Awareness, for which she edits the public education blog Sex Work 101. She has blogged on her website WakingVixen.com for four years. Dacia has a BA from the New School, a MA from Columbia University and has used her degrees to teach Human Sexuality at Rutgers University.
