Lippy is a company of creative film and distribution media associates founded in 2003 by Dave Tomalin. The company is rooted on his passion for filmmaking, enthusiasm for people and his 25 years experience as a creative producer and social entrepreneur. Lippy is based on the values of shared experience, diversity, self-expression and inclusion; plus a commitment to producing voice and influence films and distribution media that affect change by contributing to social dialogue and debate. Lippy has developed a reputation for producing collaborative social documentaries, dramas and digital media that bring stories from societies margins into the mainstream. The company also produces collaborative film projects, educational films that explore topical issues involving young people; music videos, video magazines and newsletters in addition to communication media for a range of production partners and clients within the public, arts, film/TV, private and third sectors. Lippy is proud to have played a central role in a breadth of creative partnerships across the UK. Production partnerships have enabled 1000’s of people to produce 100’s of films through which they have shared their lives, experiences and ideas with local, regional, national and international audiences.
