Lee-Sean Huang is an activist, writer, musician and multimedia producer. He is a co-founder and an active member of Hepnova.com, a genre-defying band, multimedia production company, and modern lifestyle brand. He has also worked for Avaaz.org, an international, online advocacy group, and Human Rights Watch. Huang was born in Taiwan and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He received his B.A. in Government from Harvard University, where he was engaged in student activism. He also holds a diploma in Spanish Studies from the University of Barcelona and studied International Human Rights at Lund University in Sweden. For three years after gradation he lived in Japan, where he worked as an English teacher, translator and freelance writer while pursuing various musical endeavors. His writing and photography have appeared in various print and online publications, including The Arizona Republic, The Harvard Crimson, JapanVisitor.com, and the Japan National Tourist Organization’s travel blog. Lee-Sean is currently a masters candidate in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
